The purpose of the Training task force is to:  
  • ​Aid PCIT International in the effective dissemination of PCIT with good treatment integrity
Successes:
  • Construction of training guidelines for therapists and trainers
  • ​Aided in certifying therapists and Level I Trainers
  • Consulted with agencies about PCIT dissemination with good treatment integrity
Future Priorities:
  • Complete revisions to Level II and Global Trainer Guidelines
  • Creating new resources for certified therapists to make certification more attractive
  • ​Facilitating access to parent to effective training aids
PCIT International is grateful for the members of the Training Task Force as they help facilitate many of the important tasks within our organization. If you'd like to join the Training Task Force, please send the chair above an email containing your curriculum vitae (CV) and a brief statement detailing how you hope to contribute to the work of the task force. The task force chair will review your materials and share them with the PCIT International Board of Directors for final review.
