The purpose of the Continuing Education Task Force is to:
  • Function as a resource for PCIT trainers who wish to create continuing education activities, e.g., face-to-face CE programs, online educational programs, both synchronous and asynchronous, home study activities.
  • ​Coordinate CE programming documentation
  • Review applications for events proposing to offer CEs
Successes:
  • Renewed PCIT International CE Sponsorship from the American Psychological Association (APA)
  • ​Increased communication with International CE Task Force
  • Approved CEs for PCIT International’s various conferences, e.g., 2018 International Conference, and various national and regional conferences
  • Approved and distributed CE certificates for twenty events in 2019 alone
Future Priorities:
  • Expanding international and asynchronous event offerings
  • ​Expanding diversity and inclusivity in all CE offerings
PCIT International is grateful for the members of the Continuing Education Task Force as they help facilitate many of the important tasks within our organization. If you'd like to join the Continuing Education Task Force, please send the chair above an email containing your curriculum vitae (CV) and a brief statement detailing how you hope to contribute to the work of the task force. The task force chair will review your materials and share them with the PCIT International Board of Directors​ for final review.
