The purpose of the Policy & Advocacy Task force is to:
  • Bring forward a clinical voice within PCIT International
  • Further strengthen the involvement of stakeholders and families in PCIT International
  • Address concerns, facilitate discussion, and provide assistance around PCIT implementation, dissemination, and sustainability within the community
Successes:
  • Facilitated the development of Global Trainer calls for certified clinicians and Within Agency Trainers
  • Organized stakeholder networking event at conference
Future Priorities:
  • Create resources for stakeholders, clinicians, families, state agencies, etc. outlining benefits of PCIT
  • Direct involvement of clinicians on TF or clinician subcommittee
PCIT International is grateful for the members of the Policy & Advocacy Task Force as they help facilitate many of the important tasks within our organization. If you'd like to join the Policy & Advocacy Task Force, please send the chair above an email containing your curriculum vitae (CV) and a brief statement detailing how you hope to contribute to the work of the task force. The task force chair will review your materials and share them with the PCIT International Board of Directors​ for final review.
