IMPORTANT: Please pay close attention to the type of training and the type of trainer when exploring this page. An initial therapist training is designed for those new to PCIT. A within agency trainer course is for those who have already completed initial certification as a PCIT therapist through PCIT International.

Regional trainers are only authorized to train those who live within their particular state, province, nation, or other designated geographical region. Global trainers are authorized to train interested parties regardless of geographical location.

PCIT International is the authorized organization for research and training in the empirically-supported PCIT protocol. PCIT Certified Trainers are sanctioned by PCIT International to provide expert training and consultation in the official PCIT protocol, leading to eligibility for certification as a therapist by PCIT International.
