The Center for Children, Families and Communities (CCFC) within the Department of Psychology at Central Michigan University seeks to fill a one year (12-month) appointment for a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical child psychology to begin August 2015. The position is a researched-based appointment with some teaching requirements. The CCFC supports federally funded research and is affiliated with the CMU doctoral program in clinical psychology. The successful candidate will contribute to intervention development and implementation research with children and families from underserved populations, with a focus on parent-child interaction therapy. Candidates will teach one graduate course per semester: Ethnic and Minority Issues in Therapy and Child and Adolescent Assessment. Supervision of clinical hours toward licensure will be provided. Salary and benefits are competitive. Completed Ph.D. in clinical psychology is required by the time the appointment begins.
