    Delaware’s 1st Annual PCIT Conference

    Here are some of the presenter photos from Delaware’s 1st Annual PCIT Conference that took place on December 6 in Dover, Delaware!  This was an official PCIT sanctioned event. The keynote presenter was Dr. Cheryl McNeil with additional presentations by Dr. Steven Kurtz, Dr. Amy Herschell, and Dr. Joshua Masse.The conference was sponsored by Delaware’s Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services in conjunction with Delaware’s B.E.S.T., a SAMHSA-funded initiative. Attendees were Delaware-based clinicians who have received training in PCIT. The one-day conference was very well received by all!

    The Assocation for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies Conference is coming up this weekend! If you are attending, be sure to check out these PCIT presentations! On Friday, (11/16) at 8:15 AM, Karen Budd will be presenting on indicators of treatment success in PCIT. On Saturday, (11/17) at 2:30 PM, Josh Masse, Cheryl McNeil, Amy Herschell and Rhea Chase will be presenting on community dissemination of PCIT. And on Sunday, (11/18) at 8:45 AM, Rhea Chase, Josh Masse and Melanie Fernandez will be presenting on coaching in PCIT.

    The Karitane Toddler Clinic’s Visit to the PCIT Clinic in Hong Kong

    Recently, The Karitane Toddler Clinic, located in Sydney, Australia, attended a conference in Wuhan, China, and were lucky to be able to visit the PCIT clinic in Hong Kong on the way! They spoke of wonderful hospitality and were able to share their work with Tammy Sin and her team. It is so great that two International Task Force members were able to get together and discuss the inspiring work going on in both countries!

    December PCIT Didactic Training at the Child Mind Institute

    The Child Mind Institute invites you to participate in their 5 day PCIT Didactic Training, December 3-7 2012! The CMI PCIT Initial Didactic Training workshops are held over five days in New York, NY at 445 Park Avenue. The workshops are designed for child therapists and treatment researchers at the Master’s or Doctoral level seeking training leading to certification as a PCIT therapist.
